Rosa Technology Wins Curiosity 2026 at IIM Bangalore
There are milestones in a startup's journey that feel different from others. For us at Rosa Technology, being selected as a winner of Curiosity 2026 is one of those moments.
We are happy to share that Rosa Technology Private Limited has won Curiosity 2026, an innovation-focused initiative by South Park Commons (SPC), with the event hosted at IIM Bangalore.
For us, this recognition is not just about winning a competition. It is an opportunity to take the work we have been building at Rosa Technology to the next level.
A Platform Built Around Curiosity
Curiosity 2026 brought together founders, builders, investors, researchers, and technology enthusiasts working on ambitious ideas across different fields.
The event was designed to give participating teams an opportunity to showcase what they were building and interact directly with people from the startup and technology ecosystem.
The first day was focused on getting the teams ready for the showcase. It included setting up demo booths, preparing and practicing pitches, storytelling sessions, and conversations with SPC investors, sponsors, partners, and members of the wider community.
The second day was the main showcase, where teams presented their work through a science-fair-style format. Visitors, investors, and judges moved between different booths, spoke with the builders, and explored the technologies being developed.
For a startup building in deep tech, these interactions are particularly valuable. Building a product is one part of the journey. Getting feedback, meeting the right people, and understanding how others see your technology can be equally important.
What This Recognition Means For Us
As one of the winning teams, Rosa Technology has received a ₹25 lakh non-dilutive grant, along with access to laboratory, sensor, and manufacturing infrastructure at IISc through ARTPARK.
For us, this support comes at an important stage.
At Rosa Technology, we are working on robotics, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems aimed at solving real-world challenges. Developing deep-tech products requires continuous experimentation, prototyping, testing, and iteration. Access to the right infrastructure and resources can make a significant difference in how quickly we can move from an idea to a working solution.
The grant will help us support direct project expenses such as prototyping, stipends, travel, and other activities required to advance our work.
More importantly, being part of the ARTPARK and IISc ecosystem gives us the opportunity to access infrastructure and mentorship that can help us strengthen our technology and accelerate our development journey.
Building Robots for Real-World Challenges
Our focus at Rosa Technology has always been on building technology that can work outside the laboratory and solve practical problems.
We are developing robotic and autonomous systems for applications across industries and challenging environments, with a focus on areas where technology can improve safety, reduce human intervention, and make operations more efficient.
This includes working on solutions around industrial automation, inspection, monitoring, autonomous mobility, and other applications where intelligent machines can take on difficult or hazardous tasks.
For us, the goal is not simply to build robots. It is to build systems that can actually be useful in the real world.
That means understanding the problem first, working closely with users and industries, and then developing technology around the actual requirement.
The Journey Ahead
Winning Curiosity 2026 gives us encouragement, but it also comes with a greater sense of responsibility.
We know that there is still a long road ahead. Deep-tech products take time to build, test, and deploy. There will be challenges, failed experiments, and plenty of things we will need to learn along the way.
But that is also what makes this journey exciting.
We are grateful to South Park Commons, ARTPARK, IISc, and IIM Bangalore for creating a platform that gives technology builders the opportunity to showcase their work and connect with a wider ecosystem.
We are also thankful to our team, whose persistence and hard work continue to push Rosa Technology forward.
For us, Curiosity 2026 is not the destination. It is another important step in a much bigger journey.
We are looking forward to using this opportunity to build better technology, move faster, and continue working towards our vision of creating intelligent robotic systems that can make a real difference.
The journey continues.
Follow Rosa Technology to stay updated on our work in robotics, AI, and autonomous systems.
